Meet and Greet - JEN KIM
HELLO HELLO! On this lovely Monday, we’ll be meeting and greeting our lovely intern, JEN KIM.
See that ray of sunshine on the left? Her name is Tessa…you’re going to have to know her name for this post.
So before the rest of us joined The Supply this summer, Jen had to run a big part of the show on her own. Even now, if Eddo, Shawn, and John are our coaches, Jen’s our team captain. Before the summer, she was in charge of setting up screenings, keeping in touch with all the students who were interested in starting school clubs and chapters, and of course, she had to do all of the most dreaded tasks: this ranged from organizing/arranging the office space and the MOUND of donated supplies, all the way to cutting up hundreds of slips of paper for a screening at Rutgers. On top of all this, Jen had to juggle her own schoolwork and classes, and of course, find time for her beloved niece, Tessa. If that isn’t determination, I don’t know what is. I’ve known Jen to be really friendly, but no wonder she was so welcoming in June…
Not only from the way she shows us pictures and videos of Tessa and how she updates us on Tessa’s speedy growth, Jen has all the likenesses of a perfect young mom. With the ability to organize that’s comparable to a Blackberry, with definite thoroughness in every task, and with a sociability that makes her quick to laugh and easy to like, she’s pretty much the designated Office Mom.
Another thing that stands out about Jen is that she can connect with just about anyone. As someone who really believes in The Supply, she’s been an amazing spokesperson and representative in local events, such as in meetings with pastors, a huge sports tournament, and especially in her one-on-one conversations. We’ve seen her send out TONS of emails each day; as one who’s been on the receiving end of one, you’re not only thoroughly informed, but you just can’t help but smile back at her smilies and exclamation points! :D
As our Mama Intern and Captain, Jen is none but irreplaceable. Tessa is lucky to have such a great aunt! :D ! :) ! :P !
