Meet and Greet - JOSH LEE
HEY EVERYONE! On this gloomy Monday afternoon, only our office clown can bring up the mood. Meet JOSH LEE.
The first time I witnessed a glimpse of Josh’s true side was when we went out to film our “Free Hugs” video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95L_pT0cn8k). As soon as Shawn gave us the go-ahead nod, Josh exploded with, “WASSUP EVERYONE. THIS IS J-LEEZY.” …WHAT?! Team, you’ve seen the edited version of Josh Lee…but let me give you the unedited, unabridged, inside scoop on J-Leezy.
“It shouldn’t be that hard. Just write about how awesome I am” is what he JUST said to me. Well, that pretty much sums it right up.
HAPPY MON—heheh kidding.
Among us, Josh is the only unlucky guy intern. This doesn’t seem to bother him, though. When he’s not thoroughly explaining the truth behind Harry Potter to John, he’s blogging more fashion posts and surfing more online shopping sites than any of us combined. With his denim jacket, ghetto-fab kicks, and Kanye blasting, Josh is on an everlasting journey in the search for something called “swag”. You’re getting there, man. Slowly but surely.
As our office clown, Josh is not only the one with the wittiest remarks, hilarious insight, and goofiest body language, but he’s almost always the one getting picked on. But from the way he reacts, it’s easy to see that he’s genuinely a kind and easy-going brother, whose sociability is one of his greatest attributes. As the Movement Intern, Josh is the one to reach out to our supporters and potential collaborators through all sorts of media. His naturally comfortable air makes it easy for anyone to talk and reach out to him.
But on top of all this, Josh’s heart for Lenana and The Supply’s mission is so apparent. Through the time he puts in, the blogs he writes, and the sensible responses to emails and comments, it’s clear that he believes and understands The Supply’s ultimate goal. When he writes, “We are all The Supply,” this is not just a slogan or catch phrase, but a belief that every single person that reads what he wrote can be convicted to use whatever means to be a blessing.
Make someone laugh on this gloomy Monday! Sometimes, the means to being THE SUPPLY is what joy and happiness you have to share.
