HI EVERYONE!

For today’s Watch Wednesday, we’ll be highlighting Saul, the gatekeeper of Lenana’s primary school, DYC.

In October 2010, Shawn and Eddo went to Lenana with our media guy, Julian, to shoot a documentary. One Wednesday night, they were held up at gunpoint, and it could have been much more than just their $10,000 worth of equipment that was lost.

But heroes come in all shapes and sizes. Forget the capes. Forget the flashy gadgets. The hero of this story and of this community has a heart of gold. It wasn’t The Supply’s staff that he was stepping in and risking his life for; it was for those he protects day and night, and for those he believes in. Because of his unshakable belief in the students of Lenana, his first reaction was to take a risk and make the biggest sacrifice.

We are truly all The Supply. Because of him, Eddo and Shawn were able to go back to Lenana a few months later and shoot the documentary, “Standard 8”. And now, they are able to share this powerful testimony, part of which is about how they were saved by Lenana’s very own superhero.

Saul…the superhero. =))
